Mission Statement

TCR Media Center Mission Statement 

The mission of the TC Roberson Library Media Center is to empower our students to succeed academically and to foster a love of reading in our patrons.

This mission is accomplished by: 

* supporting students and staff in all areas of learning as outlined by the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.

* focusing on research and technology skills appropriate to this increasingly technologically advanced world

* consistently and creatively promoting reading for pleasure.

* providing current materials on a wide array of topics.

* collaborating with other educators to meet the needs of all students

* minimizing the barriers between students and materials.
