T.C. Roberson High’s (TCR) Air Force JROTC provided an Honor Guard for returning veterans at Asheville Regional Airport on Saturday, October 1. The veterans - from WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War - were returning from Washington, D.C. as part of the Blue Ridge Honor Flight.
Twenty-six cadets lead the delegation of the returning heroes, giving them a warm welcome home to Asheville.
“The cadets did an outstanding job representing our school,” said Col. Tom Bell, Air Force JROTC instructor at TCR. “They received many comments from our veterans and community members on their professionalism and patriotism.”
