🏆🏆 Two state championships. Two days. One unforgettable celebration.

T.C. Roberson High School students and staff lined the halls on May 19 to celebrate the Rams' state champion men's volleyball and men's dual team tennis squads. Accompanied by the drumline and cheerleaders, both teams received a hero's welcome after bringing home state titles.

The volleyball team captured the final NCHSAA unsanctioned men's volleyball championship before the sport becomes officially sanctioned next year, while the tennis team earned its first state championship since 2008.

"Getting able to celebrate with the whole school - we haven't been able to do that in over 20 years,” said Jackson Bookout, a senior men's dual team tennis player. “That means a whole lot to us.”

“We’re so glad we got to come home and walk the halls,” added Dean Lowe, a senior men's volleyball player. “That's what it's all about, bringing it back to the hometown.”

Congratulations to these student-athletes, coaches, and the entire Roberson community on an incredible achievement!
