Credit Recovery

Credit Recovery

Credit recovery is a program designed to give students the ability to earn course credit while working at their own pace.

  • Only students who have failed a course may register for credit recovery
  • Students take an online course designed and facilitated by a Buncombe County teacher
  • Students must take the online class in the distance learning lab at TCR, but can also continue their work at home
  • Successful students in credit recovery have typically scored a level 3 or 4 on the end of course exam for the subject they are recovering
  • Courses take place during the regular school day.

  • Please contact your student's counselor if you are interested.
