Virtual Days
As Buncombe County is currently conducting instruction virtually, I wanted to share some information with you to help with navigating this process.

I know that this transition will have challenges and will be new to all of us. Just like you, there will be a learning curve for me, please be patient as I work out the rough spots.

I got into teaching because I love working with kids; all the craziness, all the new discoveries...all of it.  Distanced learning makes it harder to stay connected and I will do my best to be there for you even though we are all connecting without seeing each other each day.  If you need help or have questions, please reach out to me. Also remember that our counselors are here for your too and can be reached by email through the "counseling" link under the "academics" tab on the TC Roberson Website.

My office hours will be from 9:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.  During this time I will be accessible to students and parents by email or through GoogleClassroom. If you have questions or need help, this is a great time to reach out and get a quick response.

As I am still determining the best set up for our virtual instruction, I may be making adjustment to my office hours or adding other scheduled interactions with students in the coming weeks.  If so, I will communicate with you about those changes and update information here to clarify our schedule and my expectations.

I will be delivering instruction, posting assignments, and giving feedback through GoogleClassroom.  Review materials and other tools will be accessible through this site as well. Students are already members of Classroom (our LMS/learning management system), and parents can be added (allowing you to view due dates and message me easily). If you already gave me your email at the beginning of the course, I will be sending you an invite shortly. You can send me an email at dayna.ferguson@bcsemail.org to be added to the class (if you have not received an invite from me) or to check in with me. Graded assignments will continue to be entered into PowerSchool, so please check there regularly.

Thank you for being a part of our RAMS Family and supporting each other.  When things get tough, it is even more important to be positive and be leaders.  I know that we can get through whatever is coming by working together.

Be well- Mrs. Ferguson
