PLEASE VISIT OUR COUNSELING WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION DURING VIRTUAL DAYS.
Due to the recent closing in North Carolina Public Schools, we will be working virtually to help support our students.  If you are experiencing an emergency mental health crisis, please call 911 or Mobile Crisis at 1(888)573-1006.

DIGITAL ADVISING
For information on digital advising appointments with your school counselor and other community resources, please visit our TCR counseling webpage.  We will be checking our emails periodically throughout this time.

REGISTRATION
Please remember that most of your registration questions can be answered through your Google Classroom (join code listed on Digital Advising site).  Also, please keep your yellow cards and any course applications until further notice.  If you are able to select your classes into PowerSchool, please do so.

ENROLLMENTS
Due to the Governor's declaration for closing schools, Buncombe County Schools is no longer accepting new enrollments at this time.  Please check the Buncombe County Schools website for any updates.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you are currently seeing a mental health provider and cannot travel, check to see if they offer teletherapy appointments

A little about me:

I am originally from Texas and moved to North Carolina in 2010.  I got my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish and Masters in both Educational Psychology and Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University.  My family is from Colombia, South America and I am fluent in Spanish.   My husband, John, is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Western Carolina University.   We have just had a new addition to our family; our daughter, Willow Violet, was born in May.  We love Asheville and enjoy getting to explore Western North Carolina with our dog Taco.

Please feel free to email me with any questions: michelle.wagaman@bcsemail.org
