Because of COVID< beginning Monday, March 16, 2020 for the 2019-2020 school year, all North Carolina K-12 schools have been closed to students per decision of our Governor and Council of State.   Buncombe County Schools has been working diligently to develop a virtual learning opportunity for continued student learning during this period.  This virtual learning is continued, but is more intense for the 2020-2021 school year.  Unless I become sick myself, I will can be found working in my classroom each day (M - F).  Per request, my office hours during this time will be 8 -10 and 1-2 daily in my room.   For these virtual learning days, I am using Google Classroom and Zoom.   I can be contacted via email (wayne.hamlin@bcsemail.org) or via school telephone 828-654-1765.
