My name is Wayne Hamlin.  I have been teaching for 24 years now.  I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) as a NC Teaching Fellow for undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Physics, and completed graduate studies through NC State University and ORAU (Oak Ridge Associated Universities) through the Department of Energy Academy Creating Teacher Scientists (DOE-ACTS) Program.  Formerly I taught at Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC, at North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, NC, and have been at TC Roberson since the fall of 2005.  I have renewed NBPTS (National Board for Professional Teaching  Standards) certification in physics until the year 2025.  I was a national semi-finalist for the Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship in 2017-2018.
