Alamour, Runda - English

Welcome to Mrs. Alamour's Class!

My name is Runda Alamour and I teach English II and

Runda Alamour

English IV here at T.C. Roberson High School. I was born and raised in North Carolina and have lived in almost every part of the state from the capital to the Outer Banks. In high school, my family moved to Asheville and I fell in love with our mountain town. After graduation, I pursued my degree at the University of North Carolina at Asheville in Literature with a concentration in 6-12 Education. I completed my student teaching at T.C. Roberson in 2015 and am thrilled to be back!

I have been a passionate and avid reader/writer since I was a child. My favorites include Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's novel Purple Hibiscus, Beth Revis' Across the Universe series, and Howard Nemerov's poem "Writing". My other hobbies include crafts, baking, and hanging out outside at our home in Swannanoa where my husband and I raise farm animals and spend time with our young daughter.

I look forward to sharing my passion for literature, writing, and life with the T.C. Roberson family and community!
